The 10th Annual Waseca Bluejay Blast will be held on Saturday, November 20 beginning with a silent auction, pancake breakfast Bingo and family fun at Waseca Intermediate School from 9:00 – 11:30 am. The Night Out, adults only portion of the event will include a 5:30 pm social hour with entertainment and 6:30 pm live auction at Star Fire Event Center. All money raised from the event will be distributed to PTO groups K-12 to be put back the classrooms or set aside for activities such as field trips. Funds raised will not be used towards athletic programs or “brick and mortar” needs.
“We are very excited for our 10th Annual Bluejay Blast with a goal of raising $50,000 for our schools,” said Committee Chair, Amy Potter. “Last year we were unable to have the event due to the pandemic, so we are excited and hopeful to making this year our best yet.”
Cost for the Chris Cakes pancake breakfast is $8 for adults, $6 children 3-10 or $35 for a family. Children two and younger are free. Cost for the Night Out adult only portion is $20 per person and includes food. Table sponsors are available starting at $300 for a table of eight and tickets can be purchased at the door for the Night Out portion of the event. Donations are now being accepted as well as monetary donation to be used towards silent/live auction items.
