Waseca Lions Club's goal of serving the community will be enhanced with the information provided by speakers scheduled for the January meetings with input from the Junior Achievement program and also about the Steele-Waseca Drug Court program.

Lions speaker coordinator Terry Voss has arranged for these speakers.

The Wednesday, Jan. 6, meeting will include Laura Heyna with details about the Junior Achievement Program and how it impacts the entire community. Speaking at the Wednesday, Jan. 20 assembly with the effects and influences the drug court has on the area will be Coordinator Nicole Grams. Both presenters will discuss show how their organizations affect the Lions Club.

Waseca Lions Club meets at noon at the Waseca Pizza Ranch, starting with a buffet lunch followed by a short business meeting. Time is then provided for the speakers who will also accept questions and comments. Meetings are open to all Lions members and guests. Anyone wanting to attend or who would like to join Lions should contact a member or the current president, Brent Koehler at brent.koehler@thrivent.com.
