Ritha M. Lucking 1929–2019 Kenyon—After an exciting and fruitful life Ritha Mae Lucking died peacefully in her sleep on the morning of August 29, 2019. Ritha was born February 11, 1929 in Eureka Township to Joe and Margaret Tutewohl. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1947. After high school Ritha joined the Air Force. Ritha married Martin Lucking at St. Michael's Church in Farmington in 1952. Their union was blessed with four children. She loved her family above all else and was never happier than when they were all together. She spent the weekend before she died at the annual Family Camp surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with Martin by her side. Ritha is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Martin. Children Matt of Guerenville, CA, Tom of Rosemount, MN, Debbie (Ken) Gappa of Cannon Falls, MN, Mark also of Rosemount and her "other daughter" Lisa (Joe) Matvay, Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by Grandchildren Bruce (Marne) Gappa, Beth (John) Fallon, Ken (Tiffany) Gappa, Susan (Dave) Breyer, Cody (Nicole) Watkins and Josh Lucking and 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters and an infant son. There will be an open house visitation at the Rosemount American Legion Friday, September 6th, 2019 from 4 - 8 p.m. with a celebration of life at 6:00 p.m. Internment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at a future date.
