Beverly L. Nesseth 1930–2020 Kenyon—Beverly Lucille Nesseth, 90, of Kenyon, died Monday, November 2, 2020 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester following a brief illness. Beverly was born October 14, 1930 in Wanamingo, Minnesota and was the daughter of Hardy and Berdelle (Quittem) Wallaker. She grew up on farms between Wanamingo and Kenyon. Beverly graduated from Kenyon High School in 1948 and married Ingram Nesseth at Holden Lutheran Church in rural Kenyon on September 4, 1949. Beverly and Ingram raised their family in Kenyon. Her most important job was that of wife and mother. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Hiner, as a bookkeeper for Owen's Fairway grocery store and the Kenyon Marigold Dairy and as the office manager for the Kenyon Municipal Utilities. Beverly was a faithful member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenyon where she was active in FLCW, Priscilla Quilting Club, and Morning Circle Bible Study. In her younger days she and Ingram enjoyed golfing on various leagues and playing Bridge with other couples. They loved to pack up the kids and take a drive to enjoy the beauty of the Sogn Valley. She was still a keen bridge player to the end. She loved to follow the sporting events of her children and grandchildren. Spending time with family was a highlight for Beverly and there was always plenty of food around. Many people in the community know Beverly for her famous rice pudding (which always sold early in the First Lutheran Silent Auction) and deviled eggs. She loved to be active and was always busy doing something. Her Buckshot Court neighbors were dear to her and she enjoyed the neighborhood happy hour parties. She is survived by her children, Steven (and Jane) Nesseth of Faribault, Brad (and Carmen) Nesseth of Kenyon, Tom (and Nona) Nesseth of Shorewood and Mary (and Darin) Zimmerman of Apple Valley. She dearly loved her grandchildren, Erin, Emmy, Carly, Ben, Calli, Clara Lucille, Celia, Bret and Brad and great-grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, Henry, Hudson, Cameron, Evelyn Lucille, Ellie, Joey, Mckenna, Isabelle, Aubree Lucille. Survivors also include her brother, Harris (and June) Wallaker of Wanamingo and sister Delores Blaeser of Birchwood, WI, sister-in-law, Audrey Nesseth, and brother-in-law, Harold Fogelson, both of Kenyon, and the many nieces and nephews that she adored. She was preceded in death by parents, Hardy and Berdelle Wallaker and husband, Ingram Nesseth. A celebration of Beverly's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kenyon.
