Awesome Blossoms fall on the road against USC

Blooming Prairie fell behind in the first half and trailed 32-19 going into halftime. USC outscored them 34-24 in the second half to seal the Blossoms road loss.

Cooper Cooke led Blooming Prairie in scoring with 12 points while Gabe and Zack Hein followed with nine points each. Brady Kittelson added seven points and Kolby Vigeland and Gabe Staloch added three points each.

The Blossoms will look to bounce back from back-to-back losses on Saturday when they return home to host Winona Cotter/Hope Lutheran at 4:30 p.m.
