Pamela Jean Black 1951–2020 Owatonna—Pamela Jean Black, age 68 of Owatonna Mn, passed away January 10th, 2020 surrounded by family. Pamela Jean (Ulrich) Black was born in Owatonna, MN on May 19th, 1951 to Carl and Adrian Ulrich. The family attended Moland Lutheran Church in Kenyon MN where Pamela served as a proud member. Pamela attended school in Owatonna Mn and graduated in 1969. Shortly after graduation, she went on to meet her soon to be husband, Robert Wayne Black. Pamela and Robert were married February 21st, 1970 and had two children, Tawnia and Tony. Pamela remained a stay at home mother until her children were in high school but she sold Avon to pass the time and became known as the Avon Lady. She loved selling Avon and meeting new customers who quickly became friends. Together with Robert, they enjoyed camping and going to county fairs. Pamela was a long-standing member of the Owatonna Sheriffs Mounted Posse, extremely involved in the Sheriffs Youth Wagon Train, trail rides and loved cats/dogs. Pamela also loved gardening in her flower bed and bird watching. Pamela is survived by her husband, Robert Black, Owatonna MN, brother, Robert Ulrich (Sharon), Ft Worth, TX, daughter, Tawnia (Mike) Garten, Elysian MN, son , Tony Black, Elysian MN, grandchildren, Breahna Mullerleile (Alex), Waseca MN, Alexis, Chelsea and Darius Garten , Elysian MN, and Hunter Black, St Cloud FL, niece Teresa Bolduc, MN, nephew, Tracy Ulrich, Redding CA, niece, Treasure Lang, Ft Worth, TX, great niece, Savanna Lang, Ft Worth, TX, great nephews, Michael Bolduc MN, Steven Bolduc, MN & Justin Ulrich, Altura CA, many cousins, Aunts and Uncles from both sides. Pamela was preceded in death by her mother Adrian Ulrich, her father, Carl Ulrich, a brother, Ernest Ulrich and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Please join us for a Celebration of Life to celebrate Pamela on Feb 9th, at 2:30 pm at the VFW in Owatonna. A Memorial luncheon will be held. Donations to Allina Hospice in Pamela's memory are greatly appreciated.
