Diane Caroline Rueb 1949–2019 Rochester—Diane Caroline Rueb of Rochester passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at her residence at the age of 70. Diane was born on May 17, 1949 in Rochester to Wilbert and Grace Rueb. Diane, for many years lived and worked in Owatonna before relocating to Rochester three years ago to move closer to family. She graduated from Mayo High School in 1968 and subsequently began working at Green Parrot Restaurant, followed by a 25 year career at Northwestern Bell Telephone Company retiring in 2001. Diane's passion as a Tupperware Consultant and Manager served her customers for over forty-five years. Diane cherished her family and celebrating special times with them. Each school year she would buy school supplies for her nieces and nephews. In her younger years, she loved to travel and experienced Alaska, Florida, Hawaii, the East Coast, to name a few. She was primarily responsible for coordinating and organizing the Pioneer Craft Bazaars. Diane also supported our troops by participating in Operation Minnesota Nice for many years. She served as the area contact for the Vasculitis Foundation. Diane touched many people's lives by being compassionate, thoughtful and generous. Diane is survived by six siblings, Robert (Linda), Dave (LuAnn), Tom, Ardyce Klingfus, Joy (Mark) Hanson, Lori (Joe) Kern, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Vickie Rubin, and great nephew Robert Rueb Jr. Memorial services for Diane will be 11:00 Monday, August 12th at Midwest Bible Baptist Church, 5930 Bandel Road NW, Rochester with Pastor Caleb Hanson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to the family.
