Wyman D. Jensen 1930–2020 Owatonna—We are sad to announce that on Friday, June 26, 2020, Wyman D. Jensen, 89, of Owatonna, died at Timberdale Trace Assisted Living Center with COVID related symptoms. He was born July 10, 1930 in Owatonna, the son of Lawrence and Nora (Anderson) Jensen. Wyman graduation from Owatonna High School in 1949. He Served two years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Snider Jensen on April 15, 1956 at Aurora Lutheran Church and resided in Blooming Prairie, MN. They later moved to Owatonna and had eight children, Danny, Linda, Dennis, Dwight, Laurie, Douglas, Darrel and Dale. They were later divorced. Wyman was a very adventurous type who owned a Pool Hall in Blooming Prairie, farmed, owned Jensen's Trucking, and owned Jensen Auctioneering for over 42 years and most recently owned Jensen's Park and Sell out of his home in Owatonna, MN for twenty years. He enjoyed the chance to "sell anything!" He liked his friends stopping by to have coffee, donuts or popcorn. Wyman looked forward to deer hunting and fishing up at Black Duck, MN. He was predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Nora Jensen; sister, Betty Pichner (Jensen) and brothers, Orie Jensen and Roger Jensen. He has survived by his sister, Darlene Bartsch (Jensen); divorced wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Jensen of Owatonna; children, Danny Jensen of Colorado Springs, Co, Linda Smith of Rochester, Dennis Jensen of Owatonna, Dwight (Angie) Jensen of Owatonna, Laurie (Rick) Hafstad of Owatonna, Douglas Jensen of Northfield, Darrell (Kelley) Jensen of Medford and Dale (Tammy) Jensen of Rochester; grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Ben, Claire, Abby, Kali, Dustin, Colby, Libby, Shelbey, Holly, Wylie, Haylee, Hayden, Carter, Taillynn; step grandchildren, Kallen, Jadden, Jarren and great grandchild, Nora, Bexley, Brylan, Jack, Clara and Macy. Memories in Wyman's honor may be sent to Aurora Lutheran Church or to the family for designation. A "Celebration of Life" will follow at a later date.
