Richard A. Weber 1925–2020 Owatonna—Richard Arthur Weber, 94, of Owatonna, died Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Medford Senior Care. He was born November 9, 1925 in Owatonna, Minnesota the son of Adolph and Frieda (Priebe) Weber. He grew up on a farm near Steele Center and Hope. On September 26, 1950, he married Lucille Lembke. The couple lived on a farm until moving to Owatonna in 1971. Along with farming, Richard worked for Gilly Kubicek for two years laying drainage tile and then went to work at OTC for 17 years. In retirement, he enjoyed sitting in the sun, fishing, attending stock car races, playing cards and casino bus trips. He is survived by sons, Darrell (Marilyn) Weber of Owatonna and Dean (Brenda) Weber of Waterville; grandchildren, Ryan (Heather) Weber of Blooming Prairie, Rachelle Johnson (friend, Adam) of Owatonna, Scott (Nikki) Weber of Owatonna, Jesse Weber of New Orleans, Chelsey (Chad) Harwood of Waseca and Corey (Jenna) Schuette of Tennessee and great grandchildren, Zach, Chloe, Kendall, AJ, Jace, Aubree, Kylie, Ethan and Kace. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Frieda; wife, Lucille and siblings, Delmar (Eleanor) Weber and Lorraine (Merlin) Wobschall. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2020, at Michaelson Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Brighton Hospice Chaplain Pauly Rockswold will officiate. Interment will be in Steele Center Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Medford Senior Care and Brighton Hospice for the loving care given to Richard.
