...PATCHY DENSE FOG THIS EVENING IN SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...
Surface observations and satellite imagery indicates areas of fog
in southeast Minnesota, with visibility between 1 and 3 miles.
Within this, some patchy dense fog with visibility as low as one
quarter mile has been reported. The fog will last through the late
evening hours.
Motorists are urged to reduce speed, use low beam headlights and
allow for extra distance between vehicles. Some of the fog may
also create slick spots, especially on bridges and overpasses, as
the fog may freeze on exposed untreated surfaces. This includes
the Interstate 35 and Interstate 90 corridors, along with US
Highways 14 and 218.
