Howard Clifford Olson June 10, 1939–August 2, 2019 Northfield—Passed away peacefully at home in Northfield in the loving company and care of his family, supported by friends and Northfield Hospice. Born in Slayton, MN, he was a christian, a husband, father of three, brother, and uncle, loving grandfather. He was a master artist of watercolor, lead, ink and oil. He never stopped honing his craft: a creator, a teacher, and a student. He received many awards and acknowledgments from peers and judges alike. He was known and loved by many for his humor, love of family, humility, and pursuit of quality in his work. Howard was preceeded in death by parents: Clifford and Laura, and brother Warren. He is greatly missed by: Wife: Susan, Children: Karen (Paul Lovestrand) Eli, and Ezra, Grandchildren: Alliya (Ben Simpson), Kaya (Kellen Kirchberg), and Arye, Sisters: Colette John, Charlene Gunvalson (Bob), nieces and nephews and many friends PTL- He's eating his angelfood cake with the angels!
