The Dundas City Council will have one new member and two incumbents are returning.
Incumbent Mayor Glenn Switzer received 97% of the vote Tuesday in his unopposed bid to win reelection.
Three candidates ran for two seats on the City Council. Newcomer Ashley Gallagher and incumbent Grant Modory won the seats.
Gallagher received 493 votes. Modory receiving 397 votes. Anna O’Donnell finished third with 335 votes.
Gallagher works in natural resources management, has lived in Dundas for a decade, and has experience on planning and zoning commissions in other cities in which she previously resided.
“I look forward to joining the other council members and working for the citizens of Dundas,” she said. “I appreciate folks getting out and voting. I am a leader that is ready to listen to what people in Dundas need.”
Modory is a chiropractor and has served on the council for 18 years.
