The Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Board of Directors and Ambassadors helped Cub Foods of Northfield celebrate its the Grand Reopening on Thursday.

As part of the event, there was an official ribbon cutting ceremony as store director Allison Gephart and the rest of her staff celebrate the new look of the remodeled store.

Cub Foods unveiled its new look after listening to store customers and using their input in the process. The new layout includes a Kitchen Store, organic fruits and vegetables and realigned aisles to organize products more efficiently.

Cub Foods of Northfield has 125 employees.

The Chamber Ambassadors were there to help celebrate the re-opening and even offered the use of the organization’s new oversized scissors to cut the ribbon.

Northfield City Councilor Rhonda Pownell represented the city.
