A Mankato man found asleep in a Le Sueur business was arrested on an outstanding Dakota County warrant and was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine.

Jason Alan Willey, 42, was charged with a felony controlled substance crime in the fifth degree and misdemeanor theft. He is scheduled for an omnibus hearing on Aug. 2.

According to the complaint, Willey was found sleeping on the floor of a hallway shared by the 300 Club and the Value Stay Inn.

Willey was placed under arrest and searched after law enforcement learned of an active warrant for his arrest.

Le Sueur Police reported finding 0.4 grams of methamphetamine on his person and a blank check in another person’s name, which Willey allegedly admitted to stealing.
