Faribault's Madey named All-Conference Honorable Mention

Record-wise, the 2022-23 season didn’t pan out as much as the Falcons would’ve liked, but the bright spot for them was seeing a young core of players take over that’ll help lead Faribault in seasons to come.

Madey, a sophomore forward, helps top that list as he was named as one of 10 All-Conference Honorable Mentions. He was also just one of four total sophomores to earn a conference honor alongside the likes of Mankato West’s Kyle Steinke (Honorable Mention) Mankato East’s Brogan Madson (All-Conference) and Ganden Gosch (Honorable Mention).

He was Faribault boys basketball’s first conference honoree since then-senior John Palmer was named as an All-Conference selection during the 2020-21 season.
