Faribault girls soccer fell 7-0 Saturday at home to New Ulm in a battle of two Section 2A teams.

The visiting Eagles (3-1-1) shut out their third straight opponent. Paige Kalis scored two goals and assisted on one to lead.

Madison Roufs recorded a goal and three assists. Bekah Friendshuh, Bryn Nesvold and Livia Reinarts scored.

The Falcons (1-5, 0-3 Big 9) returned to Big 9 Conference play 7 p.m. Tuesday vs. Red Wing (3-4, 0-4 Big 9).
