Mary Luckow 1932–2020 Faribault—Mary L. (Traxler) Luckow, age 88, of Warsaw, died on Monday, November 16, 2020 at District One Hospital, Faribault. Private family services will be held. A celebration of Mary's life will take place at a later date. Interment will be at Warsaw Cemetery. Mary Louise, the daughter of George and Phyllis (Clarke) Traxler, was born October 28, 1932 on the family farm in rural Le Center, LeSueur County, MN, one of eight girls in the family. She attended St. Mary's Elementary and McKinley High School in Le Center. Mary enjoyed working on the farm growing up. She graduated from Faribault School of Practical Nursing as an LPN and was previously employed with District One Hospital, Faribault Manor, Cenneidigh, Inc. and the Faribault Regional Center, retiring in 2002. She married Gerald Luckow on November 26, 1966 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Le Center. They moved to Warsaw in 1970. She was a member of District One Hospital Auxiliary and formerly a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and CCW of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. She enjoyed working outdoors with her yard and flowers, receiving many prizes at the Rice County Fair, daily walks and exercise, reading and enjoying her grandchildren, family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Gerald of Warsaw; a son, Mitchell (and Allie) Luckow of Faribault; grandchildren, Nicholas, Delaney, Daphne and Dottie Luckow; sisters, Annette Fosket of Torrance, CA, Barbara Steigauf of Eden Prairie and Linda (Mike) Hergert of Grand Forks, ND; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Michael; and four sisters, Shirley Curley, Dolores Birkeli, JoAnn Sundstrom and Georgia Traxler. Visit for information and guest book.
