Linda Mae Drentlaw 1954–2020 San Antonio, Texas—Linda M. (Bauer) Drentlaw, 66, formerly of Faribault, passed away from cancer on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 at her home in San Antonio surrounded by her family. Linda is predeceased by her parents Wilford and Helen Bauer of Nerstrand and her son "Chad." Linda married Darrell Drentlaw on Aug. 8, 1980 and traveled the world with him while in the U.S. Navy, living in Sicily, Italy Washington D.C.; San Diego, CA; Tucson, AZ; St. Michael, Faribault before settling in San Antonio, Texas. Linda's "passion" was decorating homes, her own and for others. She worked for years designing and decorating with antiques and various interior designs. Linda was loved by everyone, someone who could enter a store for an hour and come out with 10 new friends. She is survived by her "best friend" and husband of 40 years, Darrell L. Drentlaw, son Cory Drentlaw (San Antonio), daughter Rhonda (Ed) Byrne of Germantown, Tennessee, daughter Jennifer Drentlaw of San Antonio, brother Alan (Ann) Bauer of Cannon City, sister Carol Farhenholtz of Faribault, sister Debra (Brian) Crombie of Cannon City, brother, Ronald Bauer of Kingman, Arizona, many, many cousins, nieces and nephews in the surrounding Faribault area and will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be held in Faribault, Minnesota in the spring.
