After being named to the U.S. national women’s sitting volleyball team in November, Lexi Shifflett traveled to Denver last weekend to take the court with her new teammates for the first time.

The Waseca junior, playing among silver medalists from the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, was one of several sitting volleyball players who helped the U.S. dominate Canada in a five-game exhibition at the Colorado Crossroads Junior National Qualifier at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.
