The Waseca Art Center is pleased to host author Allen Eskens, of Greater Minnesota, on Friday, June 7 from 6-8 p.m. for an evening of book reading, book signing, and question and answer session.
Light refreshments will be available and seating is prioritized first come. The event will take place on the main level galleries due to their accessibility.
Allen Eskens is the bestselling author of "The Life We Bury," "The Guise of Another," "The Heavens May Fall," "The Deep Dark Descending," and "The Shadows We Hide." He is the recipient of the Barry Award, Minnesota Book Award, Rosebud Award, and the Silver Falchion Award. He has also been the finalist for the Edgar Award, Thriller Award, Anthony Award, and the Audie Award. His books have been translated into 21 languages and his novel, The Life We Bury is in development for a feature film.
Allen grew up on the hills of central Missouri. He now lives with his wife Joely, in greater Minnesota where he recently retired after practicing criminal law for 25 years.
