The Waseca-Le Sueur Regional Library System has a number of events planned at its libraries from June 3 through June 6.

The Dollipops Concert

Dolli and Pop are sisters who have traveled all the way from Sweet Tart City to bring you on a magical, musical road trip that is sure to get kids (and their parents!) moving, grooving, and making memories.

The shows will begin at the following locations:

Tuesday, June 4 at 10 a.m.: Elysian Area Library

Tuesday, June 4 at 1 p.m.: Le Center Public Library

Tuesday, June 4 at 4 p.m.: Waseca Public Library

Wednesday, June 5 at 10 a.m.: New Richland Public Library

Elysian Area Library

Razzle Dazzle Crafts

Light up your summer with these dazzling crafts: custom popsockets, glitter magnets and a personalized trophy, on, June 3 at 6 p.m. Exclusively for ages 13 to 18 years old .

Janesville Public Library

Level Up: Drop Test Legos

Kids can test out their engineering ideas by creating a Lego vehicle that can sustain a drop on Thursday, June 6 at 2 p.m. This free event is geared for ages 7 to 12 years old.

Le Center Public Library

Dare to Self Care for Teens

Go ahead and get your relaxation on. Make DIY stress balls, bath bombs, and face masks on Thursday, June 6th at 2 p.m. Then watch your stress fade away. This event is free and exclusively for ages 13 to 18 years old.

Le Sueur Public Library

Crafty Constellations

Learn the stories behind constellations and create your own versions in food and crafts on Thursday, June 6 at 4 p.m. This free event is geared for ages 9 to 13 years old.

Montgomery Public Library

Inspiration Boards Workshop for Adults

Create a vision/inspiration/mood board to map out what they want to bring into the world at a free workshop held on Tuesday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. This event is free and exclusively for ages 18 or older.

New Richland Public Library

Stars for Tots

Listen to constellation stories while enjoying themed activities with lace-up cards and stamping on Monday, June 3 at 6 p.m. This event is free and geared for kids ages 2 to 6 years old.

Blast Off Crafts

Drop in to create out-of-this-world crafts, including straw rockets shooting star spinners, and more on Thursday, June 6 at 2 p.m. This free event is geared for ages 7 to 12 years old. Registration is required so stop by the library or call 507-465-3708.

Waldorf Public Library

Level Up: 3Doodlers

Doodle in the air. Create projects in 3D with this pen by drawing whatever you like or using molds to create ready-to-make projects on Tuesday, June 4 at 2 p.m. This free event is geared for ages 7 to 12 years old.

Waseca Public Library

Kids’ Space Camp

Complete our space training challenges to prepare for an astronaut’s life on Wednesday, June 5 at 10 a.m. Registration is required, stop by the library or call 507-835-2910. This event is geared for ages 7 to 12 years old.

Story Time with the Mayor

Mayor Roy Srp will kick off our summer storytimes at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 6. Introduce your child to reading and the thrill of stories as the Mayor enjoys one of the perks of his job.

Summer Reading Program Kick-Off

Readers ages 3 to 18 are invited to participate in the 2019 Libraries Rock Summer Reading Program at Waseca Public Library. The Library is holding a registration kick-off from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, June 3 in Trowbridge Park with activities exclusively for those who sign up for the program on the first day.

Kids are invited to enjoy space crafts and outdoor activities while teens can create custom pop sockets.

The Summer Reading Program provides incentive prizes and events geared to keep kids reading and actively learning throughout the summer.

Waterville Public Library

Pete the Cat Hits Waterville Public Library

Celebrate Eric Litwin’s Pete the Cat series with games, stories and cool shoes at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 6. This event is free and geared for ages 7 and up.
