It's one thing to beat another team in its home stadium. It's another to win at that team's home tournament.

The Wanamingo Jacks (9-3) took Thursday's game 5-1 against the Cannon Falls Bears (3-8) at John Burch Park.

Wanamingo scored two in the first and found itself up 5-0 before CF plated its only run against Connor Sviggum.

Sviggum went six innings and allowed two hits.

Max Bowen picked up the save in a shortened seven-inning game.

Quinton Lindow pitched five innings for the Bears and allowed three earned runs of five total with eight hits. Hayden Strain allowed one hit and no runs in the last two innings.

Alex Roosen went 3-for-3 in the No. 3 hole with two doubles and an RBI to lead the Jacks.

Wanamingo continues at the Josh Harrison Memorial Tournament 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Cannon Falls against the Hudson River Rats.
