Raland 'Rollie' Bauer 1971–2019 Kenyon—Raland "Rollie" Paul Bauer, age 47, of Kenyon, died Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Kenyon Sunset Home. Funeral services will be held at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Nancy Edwardson, officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and for one half hour prior to the service on Thursday. Raland Paul Bauer, the son of Paul and Bonnie (Grote) Bauer was born on December 7, 1971 in Rochester. Rollie was raised in the Faribault/Kenyon area and graduated from Faribault High School in 1990. While in high school he was active in 4-H and FFA, while in FFA Rollie served as a regional officer. Rollie's love for 4-H continued on as he was able to help his nieces and nephews with their animal projects. Rollie attended the University of Minnesota, Waseca earning an associates degree. He made his home in rural Kenyon, he was a dairy farmer before he started his business, Bauer Bovine's buying and selling cattle. Survivors include his parents, Paul and Bonnie Bauer of Faribault; brother, Aaron (and Britt) Bauer and their children, Molly, Noah, Natalie and Cooper Bauer of Kenyon; and sister, Mary Mann and her children, Kylie and Carter Mann of Lake City. Rollie was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Denora Grote; paternal grandparents, Luverne and Arlene Bauer; and niece, Brooke Bauer. Visit for information and guestbook.
