Kenyon-Wanamingo students are preparing for the annual Homecoming week events, culminating in a Homecoming football game on Oct. 11.

Games and special events at the Junior and Senior High School will pit class against class in friendly competition. Overall, the week is a celebration of the K-W Knights and the community is invited to join in the spirit.

Band Director Claire Larson invites musically inclined community members to join in the Pep Band at the Homecoming football game. She will hold a short practice in the band room at 5:30 p.m. that night followed by a hot dog dinner. Pep Band participants get free game admission and should be at the field by 6:30 p.m.

Watch for the Homecoming Parade on Second Street in Kenyon on Oct. 11 in the afternoon and show your support for the teams.
