Rep. Pat Garofalo (R-Farmington) was unanimously re-endorsed Saturday by delegates of House District 58B for re-election as the Republican candidate in 2014. Garofalo faced no opposition and was endorsed by acclimation on a voice vote.
“I’m honored to once again be the endorsed Republican candidate for House District 58B,” Garofalo said. “I’m grateful for the support of the local Republican party. I will continue to work hard for the citizens of our area and look to earn their trust for another term so I can continue to fight for the hardworking Minnesota taxpayers.”
Garofalo began 2014 with more than $50,000 cash on hand, the highest total in the state for a House candidate seeking re-election. Garofalo easily dispatched his DFL opponent in 2012, earning more than 59 percent of the vote.
