Ruth’s House is a shelter for homeless women and children in Rice County.

The organization appreciates all the support from the community, which enables the non-profit to continue offering this much-needed service.

Currently, Ruth’s House is seeking a volunteer to lay new carpet in one or two rooms in the house. The carpet is ready for installation once a volunteer is found to help with the labor.

Another daily need is assistance at the front desk. If you are interested in volunteering to lay carpet or as an occasional Front Desk Receptionist, please contact Katie Cooper, Ruth’s House Volunteer Coordinator, at 507-334-5043, or
