Farm land rent is of critical concern to landowners and operators. The added costs of inputs, higher markets and agricultural land prices has greatly affected farm land rent.

Sibley County conducted its annual farm land rent survey. The results are posted online on the Sibley County website ( under the Extension department, along with being available at the Extension office.

This rental data is to indicate trends in rental rates and nothing more. The data is not meant to establish, determine, set or fix rental rates.

A paper copy of the survey results can be obtained by calling the Sibley County Extension office at 507-237-4100.
