The Waseca-Le Sueur Regional Library System has a number of events planned at its libraries from June 17 through June 21.

Aliens Escape from Earth

The ScienceTellers will present an action-packed alien adventure using science experiments for special effects.

These totally out-of-this-world shows will begin at the following locations:

Dr. Seuss Extravaganza

Celebrate the world of Seuss with painting, games and Seussical characters on Monday, June 17 at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

Janesville public library

Blast Off Crafts

Drop in to create out-of-this-world crafts, including straw rockets shooting star spinners and more on Thursday, June 20 at 2 p.m. This free event is geared for ages 7-12. Registration required—stop by the library or call 507-234-6605.

Le Center public library

Razzle Dazzle Crafts

Light up your summer with these dazzling crafts: custom popsockets, glitter magnets and a personalized trophy, on Monday, June 17 at 2 p.m. This event is exclusively for ages 13 to 18.

Le Sueur public library

Kids’ Space Camp

Complete our space training challenges to prepare for an astronaut’s life on Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Registration required—stop by the library or call 507-665-2662. Geared for ages 7-12.

Montgomery public library

Crafty Constellations

Learn the stories behind constellations and create your own versions in food and crafts on Tuesday, June 18 at 10:30 a.m. This free event is geared for ages 9-13.

New Richland public library

Razzle Dazzle Crafts

Level Up: Coding Jam

Drop that beat, then add sounds to create a groove by combining coding blocks on Wednesday, June 19 at 10 a.m. This free event is geared for ages 7-12.

Waseca public library

Art of the Universe

Create earth, moon, and starry skies—with a blast of art projects on Wednesday, June 19 at 3 p.m.This event requires registration.

Teen Nintendo Switch Tourney

Face off to play Mario Kart, Mario Party or Overcooked 2 from 1 p.m. -4 p.m on Thursday, June 20. This event is exclusively for ages 13-18.

Royal Trivia

All hail the queens and kings of trivia. Assemble a team of up to four players to test your knowledge of the British royal family at Trio Coffee, Wine, and Ale House in Waseca on Thursday, June 20 at 6 p.m. Library staff will quiz players as they compete to win the crown (and Trio gift cards) and celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan’s new son, Archie.

Waterville public library

Level Up: Ozobots

Play with tiny robots that respond to color commands on Tuesday, June 18 at 10 a.m. Registration required for this free event geared for ages 7-12. Stop by the Library to register or call 507-362-8462.
