Ney Nature Center organizes a Minnesota River canoe paddle with Wilderness Inquiry for students

Sunday, Oct. 26, students 6th to 12th grade are invited to explore the Minnesota River between Le Sueur and Henderson by paddling 24-foot Voyageur canoes with Wilderness Inquiry Outdoor Educators and Ney Nature Center Staff. Join high school students from around the area for a day of fun on the water. Learn about the natural history of the area, make phenology observations, expand your canoe skills, and learn more about the Ney Nature Center’s Youth Ney Naturalist (YNN) Program. We only have room for 21 students; contact the Ney Nature Center to reserve a seat in a canoe. Life Jackets and paddles are provided. This event is free for students 6th – 12th grade because of a generous grant from the Sheriff’s Youth Project of Le Sueur County. Comments (0)
