MSAD track and field at Berg/Seeger Classic

The Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf track and field teams got to measure up to fellow deaf schools from around the country over the weekend.

The Trojans were in Fremont, California, for the 12th annual Berg/Seeger Classic hosted by California School for the Deaf.

The MSAD girls tied for 14th place with five points, all scored by senior Makayla Moeller.

The MSAD boys took 17th place with four points all courtesy of sophomore Dalton Starr.

The Trojans are off until Faribault High School’s home invitational 4:30 p.m. April 18. Albert Lea, Minneapolis Southwest, Pine Island and St. Clair are also scheduled to attend.
