Former Shattuck-St. Mary's standout Jack Johnson returns to Faribault with NHL in lockout mode

Shattuck-St. Mary’s hockey player Tender Pirard, a defenseman on the Sabres’ Midget AAA team, celebrated his 18th birthday on Thursday the same way any other Shattuck hockey player would.

Pirard went to class; then he went to hockey practice. But this particular afternoon skate was different, mainly because former Sabres and Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Jack Johnson was on the blue line with him.
