The SAFE Sanctuary animal rescue group will hold a pet adoption event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Faribo West Mall in Faribault.

SAFE Sanctuary is an animal rescue group whose goal is to find  forever homes for homeless pets. Many of  the animals were previously in shelters and would have been euthanized if SAFE Sanctuary had not rescued them. Others were surrendered by their owners who for one reason or another were no longer able to care for them. The animals all currently live in homes with foster families who work on their socialization with other animals,  housebreaking, and obedience training so they will make good family pets. For more information, call 334-7901 or 331-4557.
