Hardy lily gardening class slated in Faribault

The University of Minnesota Extension will offer a hardy lilies gardening class from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16 at the Rice County 4-H Building on the Rice County Fairgrounds.

This class, hosted by lily farmer Dennis Drews, will outline what lilies are available for gardeners, how to source lily bulbs, and how to grow whichever bulbs are chosen. Drews is the owner of Oak Valley Farm and is Bulb Chairman of the regional North Star Lily Society.
