Faribault Middle School is bringing a tale as old as time to the stage when students present "Beauty and the Beast Jr." to an audience.

The one-hour adaptation of the Disney motion picture and original Broadway production is a show Music Theater International calls "a fantastic adaptation of the story of transformation and tolerance."

Show times for "Beauty and the Beast Jr." are Thursday, March 8 at 7 p.m.; Friday, March 9 at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, March 10 at 1 p.m. All three performances are in the Dick Shiels auditorium at Faribault Middle School. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for students and seniors.
